FUTURA STRATEGIC SYNCHRONICITY
In 2008, as Creative Director and Curator at KRUNK, I launched the collective with Strategic Synchronicity—Futura's landmark Los Angeles exhibition. Frustrated by seeing street art stripped of its context inside traditional white-wall galleries, I reimagined the exhibition as a complete cultural experience. Every element was designed to deepen the audience's connection to the work: original editorial documenting Futura's story and every painting, studio films and sound recordings transformed into an immersive soundtrack by Linkin Park's Joe Hahn, a carefully orchestrated campaign with Hypebeast to build anticipation, affordable limited-edition prints that made the work accessible to a wider audience, and an opening night that brought together the artists, musicians, creatives and cultural figures who shaped the scene itself.
Looking back, the exhibition established the philosophy that still defines my work today: the most powerful ideas don't stop at the central piece of creative—they build a world around it. Whether creating for artists, athletes or global brands, my role has always been to connect storytelling, design, culture, experience and community into something people don't simply see, but genuinely participate in.
